Heavy or valuable furniture gets crate protection for long-distance moves. Just tell us what to pack and what to skip. We label every box clearly by room and general contents, so unpacking at your new home is intuitive, with no opening five boxes to find your coffee maker.

How It Works

    Consultation and plan

    We review what needs packing, discuss priorities (fragile first, kitchens last, etc.), and agree on a schedule. For larger homes we often pack over 1–3 days leading up to move day.

    Materials arrive

    All boxes, paper, wrap, specialty cartons, and labels come with us. You don't need to order or supply anything.

    Systematic room-by-room packing

    We work room by room, wrap everything carefully, and pack items together logically. China gets dish-pack treatment. Artwork gets cushioned cartons. Clothing goes in wardrobe boxes directly from closets.

    Inventory and labeling

    Every box is labeled with the room it came from and its general contents. For large moves we can provide an inventory list.

  5. 5

    Ready for the move

    On move day, everything is packed, labeled, and ready to load. The crew that packed you or a moving crew (if different services) handles the truck.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does professional packing take?
It depends on home size and how much you have. A small apartment might take a few hours; a larger home can take a day or more. We give you an estimate in advance.
Do you provide the packing materials?
Yes. All boxes, wrap, paper, specialty cartons, and tape are included. You don't need to order or stage anything before we arrive.
What about valuables like jewelry, passports, or important documents?
We recommend keeping high-value small items (jewelry, passports, cash, critical documents, prescriptions) with you personally rather than having us pack them. We can walk through what should stay with you.
Can I pack some things myself and have you pack the rest?
Absolutely. Partial packing is a common option. Many clients handle clothing and books themselves and have us tackle the kitchen, china cabinet, basement, and garage. Just tell us what to do and what to skip.
Do you pack fragile items differently?
Yes. Fragile items get individual wrapping with packing paper and bubble wrap, dish-pack cartons (double-walled boxes) for china, specialty cartons for mirrors and TVs, and custom crating for especially valuable pieces. Artwork and antiques can be crated.
How far in advance do I need to book packing?
Most moves benefit from packing the day before or morning of moving day. For large homes we may start 1–2 days ahead. We coordinate with your moving schedule when you book.
What if I'd rather pack myself?
That's no problem. If you'd like to pack yourself, we provide free moving boxes to help you get started. Just ask when you book.
